Set on over an acre of land in the heart of the lush greenery of Tamborine Mountain, Tea & Niceties is the perfect venue for baby showers, bridal showers, engagement parties, charity events, birthdays or family gatherings. Create wonderful memories with your nearest and dearest, as you sip a cuppa under the peaceful Pergola, or while away the hours on the giant swing under our dreamy Gordonia Tree. 

Small events 

High Tea for 10 - 50 people 

The Gordonia Tree

The Gordonia Tree is a massive evergreen tree with spreading branches filled with fairy lights. With white crushed stone underfoot and access to our iconic giant swing, this area is perfect for any celebration, from baby showers to birthday parties. The substantial area under this beautiful tree can be partially hired for events of up to 50 people. 

Partial Area hire & set up fee: $200 (10-50 people for up to 2 hours, $100 for every additional hour)

The Pergola

Situated behind the Gordonia Tree, and directly at the end of our gorgeous arbor walk, the Pergola is a level paved area with an open structure which backs onto a secluded area of the garden, perfect for smaller events. Events held in the pergola combine elegance and class, while maintaining the laid back, relaxed vibe of the surrounding gardens.

Partial Area hire & set up fee: $200 (maximum 30 people for up to 2 hours, $100 for every additional hour)

The Deck

Nestled into the lush greenery surrounding the tearoom, the deck is the perfect place for a cozy and relaxing gathering. Providing immediate access to the Garden Cafe, guests can grab a coffee or try a loose leaf tea and a scone, without having to commit to a full high tea. This makes the deck ideal for more informal events, such as family gatherings, and children's birthday parties.

Partial Area hire & set up fee: $50 (maximum 20 people for up to 2 hours)

 

Please note: As these are outdoor areas, they are subject to weather changes. We have outdoor heaters and blankets available for warmth, and we encourage guests to check the forecast and dress to conditions. In the event of wet weather, we will make the decision in the morning to move your party undercover, either on The Deck outside the tearoom, or the Pavilion Cafe.

With ample space to hold your ceremony in our lace-laden pergola and reception inside the elegant tearoom, you’re able to make the very most of your special day in one magical location.

 

Create your own unique Wedding experience by choosing your Ceremony , post ceremony and Reception areas to suit your style. You will walk into your wedding day with everything set in place. We step our couples through a complimentary consultation process, enabling us to ensure your day is perfect.
