Less than an hours’ drive from both the Gold Coast and Brisbane, Tea & Niceties is perfectly positioned for an enjoyable and relaxing day-trip in South East Queensland’s picturesque Scenic Rim. 

 

Pamper yourself with the ultimate High Tea experience in our vintage inspired tearoom, set amongst enchanting gardens in the peaceful rainforest of Tamborine Mountain.

 

We pride ourselves on treating every guest to a unique and memorable experience, with the charming atmosphere of our tearoom, attentive service from our staff, and delicious flavours of our High Tea delicacies, and loose leaf teas. Everything on our three tiered High Tea towers is made fresh daily and meticulously prepared and presented on-site by our talented chefs and kitchen staff.

Traditional High Tea

$59 per person 

  • A selection of three fresh sandwiches and wraps, and three baked savoury items.

​

  • Three freshly baked scones served with berry jam and freshly whipped cream

​

  • A selection of five petit fours ranging from delicate lemon meringue tartlets and chocolate eclairs to brandy snap cones and profiteroles (Subject to seasonal changes). All presented with seasonal fruit and fresh flowers.

​

  • Accompanied with your choice of tea from our extensive Loose Leaf Signature Collection, or an alternate beverage (Please see menu above).

Celebration High Tea

$75 per person 

  • A selection of three fresh sandwiches and wraps, and three baked savoury items.

​

  • Three freshly baked scones served with berry jam and freshly whipped cream

​

  • A selection of five petit fours ranging from delicate lemon meringue tartlets and chocolate eclairs to brandy snap cones and profiteroles (Subject to seasonal changes). All presented with seasonal fruit and fresh flowers.

  • Accompanied with three choices of tea from our extensive Loose Leaf Signature Collection, or an alternate beverage (Please see menu above).

  • Plus a glass of sparkling Rosé, Brut or non-alcoholic wine from Witches Falls Winery

Children's High Tea

$25 per person 

  • A kid size selection of ham and cheese sandwiches and two hot savoury items. 

​

  • Two freshly baked scones served with berry jam and cream.

​

  • A selection of four children's sweets, including delicate cupcakes, tartlets, and fairy bread (Subject to season changes). All presented with seasonal fruit and flowers.

​

  • Accompanied with your choice of tea from our extensive Loose Leaf Signature Collection, or an alternate beverage (Please see menu above).

Dietary Requirements

Additional $5 per person 

We can cater for a variety of Dietary requirements including:

  • Vegan

  • Vegetarian 

  • Coeliac

  • Diabetic  

  • Pregnancy friendly

If your dietary requirements are more complicated, or require a combination of two or more of the above, please discuss at time of booking. Please note that this may incur an additional cost.    

Terms & Conditions:

​

To secure your booking a non refundable deposit is required.

​

Final guest numbers and dietary requirements must be confirmed a minimum of 24 hours before the booking date. As we bake everything fresh daily, we need this time to prepare the appropriate and correct amount of items for each day.

 

Therefore, If a guest does not arrive, payment for their food will be charged. Food can be served at your table or packaged for takeaway. 
 

Cancellations Policy: 

​

If you need to cancel your booking your deposit will remain valid for 12 months. You may transfer the booking to a new date or you may exchange for a voucher, valued to the same amount, to be used at either Tea & Niceties or the Pavilion, Mt Tamborine.

 

Please Note: Cancellation of booking will be accepted a minimum of 18 hours before your booking, (With the exception of Covid related cancellations, accepted until 10.00 am on the day of your booking). Failure to do so will incur the loss of your deposit.

Licensed Venue:

​

We offer a selection of local wines and craft beers to purchase.

No BYO Food or Beverages

​

Table Decorations:

​

We allow balloons and small gifts on tables. No confetti or glitter please or anything that will stain our linen.

​

Code of Conduct:

 

No intoxicated patrons will be permitted.

No abuse of any kind will be tolerated.

All patrons will be considerate of each other and of our staff.

We expect patrons to treat our venue with respect.

Patrons will be asked to leave immediately if they breach any of these conditions.

​
